Nepal's possibilities for the visitor are virtually unlimited. Roads are underdeveloped and flight connections make it difficult to design comfortable round trips.

My Nepalese partners and I know the local situation well enough to tailor a Nepal experience for you, which will be unforgettable!

Itineraries below give you some ideas, but are by no means mandatory to follow.

Tour 1: "Classic"
(5 Days/4 Nights)
Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Pokhara - Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Airport transfer and Check-in - brief introduction and leisurely walk around Thamel.

Day 02: Full day tour of Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur City and continue to Nagarkot. Stay overnight there.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, relax on the lakeside.

Day 04: Possibility for different hikes - a one-day to Sarangko. Or relax in your accommodation, the Fish-Tail-Lodge and just enjoy the view.

Day 05: Flight back to Kathmandu; departure possible same day


Tour 2: "Nature"
(8 Days/7 Nights)
Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Pokhara - Chitwan - Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Airport transfer and Check-in - brief introduction and leisurely walk around Thamel.

Day 02: Full day tour of Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur City and continue to Nagarkot. Stay overnight there.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, relax on the lakeside.

Day 04: Possibility for different hikes - a one-day to Sarangko. Or relax in your accommodation, the Fish-Tail-Lodge and just enjoy the view.

Day 05: Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. Jungle tour in the evening.

Day 06: Full day guided jungle activities: Watch Rhinos on an Elephant ride; coening and Jeep-safari.

Day 07: Transfer to Kathmandu by air or road. Farewell dinner in a typical Nepali Restaurant.

Day 08: Assisted Shopping; Transfer for departure


Tour 3: "Adventure"
(11 Days/10 Nights)
Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Pokhara - Jomsom - Pokhara - Chitwan - Daman - Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Airport transfer and Check-in - brief introduction and leisurely walk around Thamel.

Day 05: Flight to Jomsom, Transfer and Check-in

Day 07: Flight back to Pokhara and continue to Royal Chitan National Park

Day 08: Full day guided jungle activities: Watch Rhinos on an Elephant ride; coening and Jeep-safari.

Day 09: Scenic drive to Daman Hill Resort for the most spectacular views of the Himalayans.

Day 10: Drive from Daman to Kathmandu. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening fare-well dinner.

Day 11: Assisted shopping; transfer and departure.


Tour 4: "Trekking"
Trekking in Nepal

For trekking in Nepal allow 15 to even 30 days with altitudes reaching about 5400 m.

Possibilites are manifold. I personally would like to encourage you to head out for trek "off the beaten track", which can be found in the western part of Nepal, the Mustang region or the Dolpa region, flying either into Jomsom or Jumla. In this region you can even trek via Simikot into Tibet and the Mt. Kailash area (see Tibet).

Tour 5: "Mystic"
(11 Days/10 Nights)
Kathmandu - Nargakot - Pokhara - Kathamandu - Paro - Thimphu - Paro - Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Airport transfer and Check-in - brief introduction and leisurely walk around Thamel.

Day 02: Full day tour of Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur City and continue to Nagarkot. Stay overnight there.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, relax on the lakeside.

Day 04: Possibility for different hikes - a one-day to Sarangko. Or relax in your accommodation, the Fish-Tail-Lodge and just enjoy the view.

Day 05: Flight back to Kathmandu; departure possible same day

Day 06: Flight to Paro; drive through beautiful Paro valley to your Hotel. Afternoon drive to Thimphu 1 ½ hours drive.

Day 07: Thimphu; visit National Memorial Chorten; National Library; painting school; traditional Medicine Institute. Afternoon: Visit to Changangkha Monastery; Zilukha Nunnery; Traditional Paper Factory and Handicraft Emporium. Evening walk through Thimphu Market.

Day 08: Drive back to Paro directly to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a victory fortress of the 17th century; visit a farmhouse to experience every day Bhutanese Life. Afternoon: Visit Ta-Dzong National Museum, which is considered to be one of the best natural and historical Museums and walk downhill for a view of Paro dzong with its traditional bridge over Pa-chu river.

Day 10: Excursion to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) It's about a three hours hike to Takshang. Riding on ponies can be arranged. Visitors are permitted to go up to the viewpoint, from where they can see the monastery hanging on the cliff. - It was here, that during the 8th century the great tantric master Guru Padmasambhava flew from Tibet on a Tigress, bringing Buddhist teachings to Bhutan. - Today this is a very important place of pilgrimage for the local people.

Day 11: Departure from Paro to your flight back.


Tour 6: "Trekking"
Trekking in Bhutan - Jhomolhari Trek

This is one of Western Bhutan's famous treks along the base of Jhomolhari mountain (altitude 7314 m), the kingsdoms most sacred mountain. Allow 14 days for the trek including some sightseeing in Paro. Daily trekking time is usually between 4 - 7 hours and the highest altitude reached is Nyili-la pass at 4680 m. Best trekking time is March to June and September to November. Please contact me for further details
